Soprano
Elizabeth Boorman was born in Cardiff and gained her degree of AGSM at the Guildhall School of Music.
After a pantomime with Jimmy Clitheroe in Blackpool, she played for over a year in the West End in John Hanson's THE DESERT SONG.
With various opera companies, including the English National Opera, the Scottish National Opera Company and Opera North, she has sung roles from Carmen, Rosalinde and Cura in THE FORCE OF DESTINY, in MADAME BUTTERFLY and PARCIFAL, toured America, taken part in television productions and recordings of THE MERRY WIDOW, LA TRAVIATA and IL TRAVATORE.
Her oratorio and concert works include the Proms, Aldeburgh, Rossini's STABAT MATER, Verdi's REQUIEM, and Bach's MASS IN B MINOR.
She is also a pianist and clarinet player.
She settled in Jávea in 1995 with her husband, James Turner, and they have sung together in several Costa Blanca concerts.
