Accompanist
Margaret Gilbert was born in Derbyshire, England, and made her first piano broadcast with the BBC at the tender age of twelve.
Later she went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she was appointed official accompanist and awarded the ScottHuxley prize for piano accompaniment.
She has had a long and varied career, playing chamber music and working with singers and instrumentalists in England, USA and South America.
In 1986 she came to live in Jávea and, although officially retired, she finds a great deal of her time is still devoted to music.
